Online Giving Platform for a reputed non-profit organization to make the ‘giving’ experience better and more effective for the retail donors and corporates who wanted to view and manage their contributions.

WHAT VIDYATECH DID?

Challenge

The customer was looking for a technology partner who could develop the desired platform for enhancing the ‘giving’ experience. They needed a professional vendor to understand the business requirements and handle the project with a specialized approach.

Solution

Vidyatech met the key stakeholders in the non-profit organization to understand the criticality of the situation. After the initial study, we recommended developing the platform in a phased manner. It was assumed that through this way, the customer would get the time to test the waters at a lower cost with limited audience and align the development process before the full-fledged launch.

The customer’s branding guidelines and business were understood, and their existing database was also studied carefully to migrate relevant data from the old system to the new one.

Mock-ups were created keeping the user experience in mind and later, fine-tuned as per the feedback of UX/UI Designer of the customer organization. The content – text and graphics – were developed accordingly.

Design and Development process was kept modular and scalable, as the platform was expected to grow and attract a lot of visitors and donors. Additional features were also planned for the subsequent phases.

The platform permits guest donations as well as payroll donations through pledging. It also enables other NGOs to register and get validated to join the list of customer-approved NGOs. Corporate employees can also pledge their time and money to the noble cause and NGO of their choice. The customer Admin can manage and control the entire workflow and get the reports and tax receipts.
